What's free?
The viewpoints. Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Portas do Sol over Alfama, Senhora do Monte higher up, the riverfront at Praça do Comércio and the Belém waterfront. Six hours of walking between those and you've done Lisbon properly for the price of the flight.

Is six hours enough?
For the old town and a long lunch, yes. Belém is a tram ride out, so do it only if you're quick. The late flight home helps, but Manchester's lands after midnight, so Stansted is the better pick.
