When you hear Thailand, you probably think of digital nomad hotspots like Bangkok and Chiang Mai. This month, Nomad Summit Chiang Mai is happening, and if you’re a content creator, digital nomad, or aspiring to be one, this event should be on your radar, if you haven’t already booked your ticket.

The main Nomad Summit takes place on 16-18th January, 2026, but from the 19th–26th additional events will be happening across Chiang Mai, offering even more opportunities to connect, learn, and create with others.

While the summit comes with a price tag, the impact can be huge. Standard tickets are $299, while premium tickets cost $399. You can find more details on their website: https://www.nomadsummit.com/chiang-mai-2026/

The Summit features a Buildathon, where teams will come up with ideas, prototype, and ship projects together. For creators, this is a perfect opportunity for you to accelerate an idea, test collaborations, and even launch new formats or products during and by the end of the event.

You can also join the Nomad Summit Meetup group to meet others attending and discover what additional events are taking place throughout the 10 days.

Why should I attend the Nomad Summit in Chiang Mai?

Like Bangkok, Chiang Mai is a major digital nomad capital, making it the perfect place for networking and collaboration. BudgetBro recently participated in the Nomad Fest Creator Edition in Bangkok alongside creators, and we saw firsthand how impactful learning from experienced founders, remote leaders, and high-performance creators can be.

Sessions at the summit will cover practical, actionable topics like building profitable ventures, scaling personal brands and navigating the modern digital ecosystem.

One of the strongest benefits of attending is the people you’ll meet. This might just be worth the money in itself. Creative professionals, founders, freelancers, and digital nomads from around the world converge here, whether you're thinking or are already heading to the summit, this could be an excellent time to base yourself here, taking advantage of the rich mix of perspectives and collaboration potential.

Accommodation in Chiang Mai

Nomad Summit has recommended accommodations in Chiang Mai, including Alt_ChiangMai which is a very popular co-working location. https://www.nomadsummit.com/chiang-mai-2026/accommodations-in-chiang-mai-recommendations/
