Tomorrowlands Next Chapter: The Magic Moves Indoors

I'm not a festival man, but if one festival has ever tickled my pickle, it's Tomorrowland. For years I had a temptation to visit their staple event in Belgium, the fact they had their own flights with DJ's blasting EDM music and the pilots battling the man-made turbulence (an over reaction) was just thrilling to me, but, I hate crowded places. So even if I was in love with the thought, it was not my vibe.

Like myself, you've probably seen the clips, the fireworks (maybe even the fire on the main stage of this years event), the sea of flags and the DJ's playing to half a million people. These guys don't just host events, they create their own world.

Tomorrowland has grown into a global phenomenon. Over the years it's popped up in Brazil, France, Spain and even the United States. It's even confirmed in Thailand for 2026. Deep rooting it's love for EDM in the four corners of the globe but things have changed. This month, November 2026 it's coming to Shanghai, INSIDE.

For the Curious Travellers

If you're already in Asia getting to Shanghai is easy from most major hubs, you can catch a direct flight from BKK to PVG on November 21st for £68.00! The event is being held at the Hero Dome which sits right in the heat of the city. Jumping on the Metro costs around £5.50 and current hotel prices will cost you around £60-£80 for something nice. Although out of many backpackers range, thee costs could easily be aligned if you cut out a few beers over a few weeks...
