BudgetBro Day Trips Is Live: From a Budgeting App to This, and We're Only Getting Started
BudgetBro Day Trips is live. It shows same-day return trips from UK airports with the whole day costed per person: flight, getting into town, food and getting about, plus how long you actually get in the city. Founders pay £19 a year for life, first 1,000 members only.

It's live. Day Trips is actually live.
I've written and deleted that first line about ten times. Every version sounded like an advert, and this isn't one. This is me, sat here, a bit emotional, wanting to tell you how we got here.
Where it started
In July 2025 BudgetBro was a budgeting app. That was it. A place to see where your money goes, so it stops disappearing on things you can't remember buying. It's still on the App Store and Google Play, and it's still going.

Why day trips
Anyone can find a cheap flight now. That bit's easy. What nobody tells you is what the day actually costs. The train from the airport. Lunch. The coffee you didn't plan for. And how long you really get in the city once you've done passport control and the bus in.
That's the budgeting app brain coming through, really. Same thing it always did. Know what it costs before you spend it. Just pointed at a day in Kraków instead of your monthly bills.
What went into it
Everything, if I'm being straight with you.
Evenings, weekends, early mornings. A lot of Yorkshire tea. A lot of things breaking at exactly the wrong moment, getting fixed, then breaking again for a laugh.
It's two of us. Me and my wife, Samar. No big company, no office full of people. Just us and a to-do list that never got any shorter.
Every price you see on the site has been checked. If a trip's on the homepage, the flight's £100 or less. There are pages for 18 Christmas markets, 40 cities with things to do with kids, and the big events coming up. All of it costed per person, so you know what you're in for before you book a thing.

What it does today
Pick your airport. You'll see same-day return trips with the whole day costed: the flight, getting into town and back, food and getting about. You see how long you'll actually have in the city, when you need to leave for the airport, and what time you're home.
Here's one I found today. Kraków from Luton on Monday 23 November. £56 return on Google Flights when I checked on 2 October. Land 09:45, fly home 22:20. Nearly 10 hours in the city and about £95 for the whole day. That still makes me grin.
Kraków on Mon 23 Nov: times, hours and today's price
A free account gets you 4 weeks ahead and 5 searches a week. Members get 6 months ahead and everything else.
Still so much to give
I'll be straight. This is day one. There'll be bugs. There'll be a price that's moved by the time you click. There'll be things you wish it did that it doesn't do yet.
And that's the bit I'm most excited about. We've got a long list of what's next, and we want yours on it too. Tell us what you'd use, what annoyed you, what you'd pay for. We're two people, so when you message us, it really is us reading it.
If you want in early
Founders pay £19 a year, for life, instead of £39.99. It's for the first 1,000 members only.
If you've already joined, thank you. You backed this before there was anything to see, and that means the world to us.
And if you just want a look around, have a look around. That's fine too.
Thank you for being here. Right, I'm off to celebrate. Probably by looking at cheap flights.
