10 Cheap Day Trips in November 2026, Prices Checked
The cheapest November 2026 day trip we could verify is Wrocław from Stansted on Saturday 7 November: £45 return plus about £31 on the ground, £76 all in. Seville is £85 with 12 hours in the city, and Kraków and Dublin are both £90.
£76. That's Wrocław and back from Stansted on Saturday 7 November, flight and the whole day on the ground. Here are the ten cheapest November day trips we could actually verify, cheapest first.
How we did it this time. Our board flags the cheap fares, then every single one got checked on Google Flights for that exact day. Prices are the cheapest return on Google Flights for that exact day, checked on 30 September 2026. Fares move daily, and our trip page may show a slightly different number. A few that looked great on paper didn't survive: Tirana from Luton on 1 November was £47 on our board and £199 on Google, and two Luton flights to Spain didn't show up at all. They're gone.
The ground cost is our own data: airport transfer both ways, local transport, lunch and dinner. Drinks and paid attractions are extra.
1. Wrocław, Sat 7 Nov: £76
Stansted, £45 return plus £31 on the ground. Land 11:30, fly home 17:30, so only 6 hours. Bus 106 into town is about a quid. Cheapest on the list, shortest on the list too. Great for a Rynek wander and a proper Polish lunch, not for cramming.
2. Seville, Mon 23 Nov: £85
Stansted, £50 plus £35. Out at 05:55, land 09:40, home at 21:40. That's 12 hours in Seville for £85. The EA bus gets you in for €4, and Plaza de España and the Parque de María Luisa cost nothing.
3. Tirana, Thu 5 Nov: £87
Stansted, £47 plus £40. Land 09:55, fly home 20:45, 10.8 hours. The Rinas Express bus is €4, and Skanderbeg Square, the Pyramid and Tirana Castle are all free. The wildcard, and a good one.
4. Barcelona, Sat 28 Nov: £88
Stansted, £44 plus £44. Land 12:55, home 19:55, so 7 hours. Late start, but it's a Saturday in Barcelona for under ninety quid. Take bus 46 in, it's cheaper than the Aerobús.
5. Kraków, Mon 23 Nov: £90
Luton, £51 plus £39. Land 09:45, fly home 22:20, 12.6 hours. Here's the bit to love: Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory is free on Mondays, and you're there on a Monday. The Main Market Square, the Planty and Kazimierz are free every day.
6. Dublin, Sat 7 Nov: £90
Stansted, £43 plus £47. Land 07:55, fly home 22:10. That's 14.3 hours, the longest day on the list by a mile. Manchester has Dublin too, on Friday 20 November for £46, with 13 hours on the ground.
7. Budapest, Sat 7 Nov: £95
Stansted, £61 plus £34. Land 09:25, fly home 17:05, 7.7 hours. Bus 100E is 40 minutes into town. Walk the Danube, cross the Chain Bridge, and don't pay for anything you can see from Gellért Hill for free.
8. Cologne, Fri 13 Nov: £102
Stansted, £56 plus £46. Land 09:00, fly home 17:15. Honest bit: the Christmas markets aren't open yet, the cathedral one starts on 16 November. Market-season Saturdays on this route were £170 to £200 on Google when we checked, so this is Cologne without the markets, at half the price.
9. Madrid, Fri 20 Nov: £104
Stansted, £49 plus £55. Land 09:30, fly home 20:20, 10.8 hours. Metro in for €5. The Reina Sofía's main building is free for individual visitors, and El Retiro and Plaza Mayor cost nothing.
10. Bologna, Wed 4 Nov: £109
Stansted, £50 plus £59. Land 11:50, home 19:00. The pricey bit is the Marconi Express from the airport, €11 each way, for an 8 minute ride. Daylight robbery, but it's the quick way in. Walking the porticoes is free.

Most day for the money: Dublin, 14.3 hours for £90. Best value abroad: Seville or Kraków, 12 hours each for under £90. Cheapest full stop: Wrocław, as long as 6 hours is enough for you.
