Manchester Pride takes over the city's Gay Village around Canal Street for the August Bank Holiday weekend, with a parade, live music stages and street parties. It is one of the UK's biggest LGBTQ+ celebrations and an easy long-weekend trip for anyone basing themselves in northern England.
