Medellín's flower festival: ten days of parades and music, closing with the Desfile de Silleteros.
The Feria de las Flores turns Medellín into a ten-day celebration of flowers, music, parades and Paisa culture. The signature Desfile de Silleteros closes the festival, when hundreds of growers carry towering flower arrangements down from the hills of Santa Elena. It is a colourful time to visit one of Latin America's biggest nomad hubs.
