Why It's Started
When you are backpacking every dollar counts. We learned that by living it ourselves, stretching budgets, skipping meals and bargaining for buses just to keep the journey alive. We tried using the usual budgeting apps but they were never built for travellers. They tracked numbers but they did not help you find a cheap hotel, save money on Tuktuk's in Bangkok, or figure out which street food stall gives the best value without blowing your budget.
That is why we created BudgetBro, the budget travel app for backpackers. It brings together AI powered travel companions with real local tips, cultural know how, and advice that actually works when you are on the road. The aim is simple. Help you save money traveling, discover affordable adventures, and stretch your budget further without missing out on what makes the trip unforgettable.
